Webcam Live! Ultra for notebooks does not work in my notebook, but works perfectly on my desktop

Webcam Live! Ultra for notebooks does not work in my notebook but works perfectly on my desktop.

Please try the following:

• Ensure that the webcam is connected to a self-powered USB interface outputting a minimum of 500mA. If you have multiple USB devices, disconnect all of them, uninstall all software and drivers, and then reinstall the software with the other USB devices disconnected.
• As there may be issues with the power supplied to your USB ports in your notebook, you may want to ensure that the power saving settings is set to maximum performance.
• Due to the low power supplied via the battery, you may want to make use of the power adaptor of your notebook while using the webcam.
